And I saw a 250-kilometer stretch of limestone cliff.
So that tells me one thing.
There's nowhere to stop.
There's nowhere you can actually go into land there.
And I thought, okay, I'm going to have to need a catamaran for this trip because initially I told my husband I'd be right to do it with just a tinny beside me, which he laughed at.
But for 250k, there's nothing but sheer, you know, big, steep cliff faces.
And it's actually named after a Dutch East Indies trading ship that wrecked there in the 1800s.
And I believe it's 1800s.
And basically, it's got a lot of history, but known for being a really notorious stretch of ocean.
And I had to paddle that on an eight kilogram carbon fiber ski.
So I was incredibly seasick.
I wanted to do it in 48 hours.
I didn't want it to last any longer.
And we got across there in two days, but it was another really big test of our resilience.
It was along that coast that you had your first shark encounter.
