That's what I want to do.
And to do that, I'm probably going to have to move out of Coffs Harbour, our tiny little town of Sawtail within Coffs Harbour.
And I've got to go to the Gold Coast to do that.
That's what I thought.
And so when did you make that move?
How old were you?
I was 17 when I moved out of home.
I packed up my little car, Courtney did too, and we moved to the Gold Coast.
I was 17 and 18.
I didn't know how to cook a single meal.
I had to call mum and ask what products to clean the bench down with.
We moved into a share house of athletes and after around five months of training, we both made it into the professional Ironwoman series.
So it was everything we ever wanted, the
Absolutely.
So Ironwoman Racing, different to Iron Triathlon, Ironman Triathlon like Kona, the long distance, this is surf Ironwoman Racing.
So not only are you taking on 19 other competitors on the line, you're taking on Mother Nature in the ocean.
Right.
Uh, it's a mix between ski, swim, board and run.
I guess you'd explain the ski like a kayak, but a little bit heavier.
It's 18 kilos.
