I think if you're James Franklin, I think the only other job James Franklin was kind of looking at was Florida State.
I think after Florida State won this past weekend, James Franklin got the inclination
that Florida State wasn't going to open.
So he takes Virginia Tech.
I love it.
James has coached in that area.
Penn State's not too far from Virginia.
He's recruited in that area.
That's where his base is.
That part of the country, if you think about it, he was at Vanderbilt and Nashville, Tennessee.
He goes to Pennsylvania.
Now he's at Virginia Tech.
That area of the country, he understands very well.
He knows where the high school players are.
He knows all about that area.
So I think it's a perfect fit.
