And a lot of people would say that the Jets are one of either two or three teams that are probably farther away from a Super Bowl championship than everybody else.
I think what he was trying to do and what most coaches try to do when they come here for the first time, whether it be...
A giant head coach or a jet head coach, especially when there is a coach coming in that doesn't have experience as a head coach and talking to the media on a daily basis.
And that is try to plant their flag, let everybody know how they're in charge and how they're going to run things.
And to give everybody a sense that, you know, he's going to be a competent head coach.
And I think most of the coaches that have come through here over the last few years have been inexperienced head coaches.
