Actually, Bowen was presenting at the Oscars for Wicked and he had to do a very involved bit with a costume.

He was presenting best costume design and the bit was all the presenters came out and he was the only one in his costume from the movie.

So it took him a long time to get in and out of the costume.

So I was sitting in the front row of the Oscars as his date with a seat filler for the first 90 minutes of the show.

And eventually the seat filler, who hadn't said anything all night, turns to me and goes, where's Bowen?

And I was like, I mean, I would rather he be here too, but I don't know.

But sorry, you have to chill with me at the front row of the Oscars, ma'am, while Cynthia Erivo slays Defying Gravity in front of us.
