But I mean, like,

I rarely have auditions come in anymore.

I talk to all my friends that are acting.

I'm like, are you guys auditioning for stuff?

It's like everything is way, way down.

And I think that's another reason why I'm super happy to be sort of pivoting to

other types of projects like bowen and i are writing a book we are we actually are co-writing a movie together uh with searchlight who did fire island so we're teaming back up with them and we're really excited it's about two best friends who um feel rejected in their lives and so they go to berghain to prove that they can get into the most exclusive club in the world spoiler alert

We can't.

But we're super lucky and fortunate and grateful to be able to get to do that.

So it's just taking those opportunities where you can make it happen for yourself because the industry is not making it happen for anyone, let alone focusing on marginalized communities.

They're not dying to make the gay romantic comedy happen.

I think they'd love the regular romantic comedy to happen.

Right, exactly.

And so would I. I mean, like, that's, I was thinking, like, why aren't I personally at the movies as much as I once was?

And the answer is because they're not making the genre I love.

And I saw the Ryan Gosling movie where he played the stuntman.

Yeah.

And I loved that.

And also, by the way, I'll go for something that feels compelling.
