The Netherlands, Team Netherlands, WBC, and that's where I caught up with him as he was working out, getting ready for the exhibition game against the Baltimore Orioles.

So every year we'd catch up with Xander.

Last year I caught up with him in LA, Los Angeles, and then again in San Diego.

And if you remember, and we're going to reference this a lot in this conversation,

is that I talk to him, he goes four for four, and then just goes on a heater after I interview him.

It was science.

And that's really what happened to a lot of people who were interviewed for the Baseballs and Boring podcast.

But Xander was maybe the preeminent guy in this respect.

Xander just got on fire after this interview.

So that's what we talk about.

And we talk about how that's going to lead to many, many, many private jet trips for me.

Anytime there's even a semblance of a slump, whatever it is.

But it's just good catching up with Xander.

And then caught up with Carlos Beltran, the GM of the Puerto Rican team, WBC team.
