I've definitely aged in dog years over the last few days, especially tonight.
But watching our guys go out and compete and each and every at-bat, okay, we're down, we're just fighting back, fighting back, fighting back, just speaks to the character of this team, the clubhouse, the coaches, and the belief in each other to go out and like, hey, it doesn't matter what the score is, we are in this and we're going to keep battling until the very end.
you know, believing in each other and going out and it doesn't matter the moment.
The fact that it is a veteran group with some of the younger guys going in that, you know, really feed off of that.
It's a special combination of it all to go out and be able to win a game like this.
Did anyone say anything in the box that was memorable?
No, we were all locked in.
I had my son on my lap from the eighth, ninth inning on, so that was cool.
I think going back to last year to this year, you can do it a lot of different ways.
I know we like to talk about how it needs to be starting pitching or it needs to be hitting or it needs to be bullpen.
I think you can get at it a lot of different ways as long as your guys believe in each other and go out there and compete.
battle each and every pitch, you can accomplish that a bunch of different ways.
I mean, it's not just, hey, we're going to do it this way.
It's just not, and it's really hard, and you need great players, and you need a great culture, great coaching staff, and you need some good fortune, too.
All right, man.
