So they changed the quotas for immigrants that the U.S.
had taken in the civil rights bill before 65.
It was 85 percent people from Europe.
After that, they flipped it and it was 85 percent people outside of Europe that were allowed to immigrate to the United States.
So that drastically shifted the types of immigrants we got.
And that's where it all changed.
That's why it's different.
