Morning, Gerard.
I'm feeling a little bit more upbeat, even though I'm a Dees fan.
I still can't be unhappy with the start to the year, and we weren't great yesterday, but if not for a dropped chest mark, we nearly had it.
My snap judgment, Bont is the boss.
Like, I'm a Dees fan, but me and my old man were in the nosebleeds just marvelling.
This bloke's playing on one leg, and every time he touched the ball in the first half, they got a goal.
And then he just snuck forward in the second and kicked a couple himself for fun.
I mean, that guy is just a genius.
And I don't know if it's the vagaries of modern team defence as to why we can't or didn't tag him, but he always had five foot of space.
But maybe it's just because he's so much smarter.
He's just always in the right spot.
So Dave's fan, but go no further for the search for the best player in the comp.
That guy is a genius.
Hear, hear, Brendan.
And just quickly, Gerard, I caught up on my podcast over the weekend.
I don't know if this is a self-reflection piece about where I'm at in life,
But Tony Cochran is no longer a pot stirrer.
He is the voice of reason.
That was a brilliant interview.
And I'm just concerned about the hubris at head office.
