And that magic wand became very important and powerful to you, didn't it?

Even though it was a kind of a piece of wood.

So what was it in the course of the healing course?

And I think that this is one way in which... Did it do anything to help Palestinians?

And you more or less had a complete psychotic break at that point.

Did you that the police were called on that?

Do you think that we didn't take part in the Eurovision or that we would not play these games?

But if it's not combined, if we are... And that is the point, yes.

And look, you write very powerfully throughout the book, but that time you write so well about the idea of somebody really lost in their own reality, which is kind of a terrifying thing.

Give me a sense of what your delusions were at that point.

And you think the players shouldn't be asked about it?

I don't think they should be forced into that position.

I think people would probably object to that on the grounds that they would say they are being prevented from making a protest.

Was it upsetting to think back to all that and to write about it and everything and think how, you know, how lost you were?

No, you do it very well and you do give a really, like it's a distressing, but a kind of very enlightening insight into it all.

So tell me then about, you were discharged from hospital, but the sense we get, like I should say to people, this is all not wrapped up in a neat bow.

None of this is kind of obvious or pat or anything.
