And if they do that, then those other guys are going to get great looks and we have to trust them.
End quote.
Really quick tangent.
I did put this in writing in a recent article on the DMV.com, but I think it's an interesting conversation.
When the Nuggets lose, we talk about their turnovers a lot.
The Nuggets have the third best turnover percentage in the league.
Do they really?
And so my first theory was, well, it must just flare up then in their losses.
They actually have a better turnover percentage in their losses than their wins.
So what does it all come down to?
Your point, D-line.
It's really the clutch.
Their turnover percentage skyrockets in the clutch, which ties back to what Adelman was saying.
Like, yes, part of it is Murray and Jokic just have to be better, and it's fair to say that, but it's also probably not a coincidence that the turnovers are skyrocketing as the spacing is different without AG, and it's that much easier to collapse like you were just talking about, Eric.
But I think ultimately I'm with Wynn's framing on this.
Adelman's got a point.
I totally understand where he's coming from.
It does feel from our position as analysts on March 4, it feels hard to ignore.
A lot of conversations about how Jokic is guarded and all the contact he receives today.
Here are some outline quotes on the broader subject.
