That's an amazing line.
They gave me relevant, interesting material.
And it's so funny, but again, this is a great lesson because he's like, I could have sat there and wallowed.
Whether it was 30 years ago when he was writing his first song or whether it was now, it's like, I could have had a pity party.
I could have complained about the situation, but
This is funny.
This is interesting.
I've got something to say.
So I'm going to turn this into something meaningful.
And you might be like, Brett, a six minute song about the cops.
It's not meaningful, but you're going to see this literally changed his life.
I mean, it's kind of like a King move.
This man took a crap situation.
He used it as inspiration.
He felt like he didn't have any power, a powerless black man in America.
And so he got creative and he gave himself power.
And so if you ever feel stuck in a situation, this should be the big lesson of today's episode.
If you ever feel stuck, just remember Afro Man.
Remember that we always have control over how we respond, how we react to problems in life.
