was right outside Nuuk in Greenland, their capital, right as the King of Denmark was there visiting.
So this was a revelation to, wait a minute, you're talking about sending these ships and your nuclear submarine had to surface, we just saved the life, and now you're saying you wanna send ships to help us?
We don't need help.
And the Premier of Greenland, Jans Fredrik Nielsen, then posted the following on Facebook, but it will be a no thank you from here.
Trump's idea of sending an American hospital ship to Greenland has been noted.
However, we have public healthcare systems where treatment is free for citizens.
This is a deliberate choice and a fundamental part of our society.
This is not the case in the United States.
We're seeing a doctor comes at a cost.
We are always open to dialogue and cooperation, including with the United States.
But please speak with us instead of making more or less random statements on social media.
