Right.
Don't they kind of already do that, though?
It's TV.
It's made for TV, much like I think the draft is.
And that's where Joe's point comes in is how did it become this in-person thing that there are tickets for and cities are bidding to host it?
I don't know if I agree with that part.
I think the amount of clicks and views that mock drafts and big boards get, people are more familiar with the first round prospects by and large than you're giving them credit for, Joe.
But I'm with you that I think it's simply to me an NFL event that is better followed via phone, internet, TV, back when they used to put it on the radio because there's really nothing happening.
Yes, I suppose you have guys walk across the stage
They'll give Roger Goodell a hug.
Maybe they'll do some interviews there.
But I just yeah, it's become commodified by the league, which is brilliant.
And it makes it a big calendar event for NFL fans around to gather in places and see a different city or stadium.
But as a from a fan standpoint, even though I started the segment by saying I love the draft and I have since I was 10 years old, I don't really have any desire to go attend it.
I think there's probably a lot of overlap between the people who are saying, okay, what does my team need?
We need an interior offensive lineman.
this year.
We need to upgrade a guard.
Let me go read what all the Seahawks beat writers and draft gurus are saying about the guards and I'll form my opinion.
I would like a lot of overlap between those people and those who would want to actually go to the draft in person.
