Yeah, yeah, I think so.
I think, you know, when you get into the question of his age and that narrative as Joe brought up, I think it's less about, as you said, the NFL passing and by-limits and probably more just
How well does he still relate to the players of today at 62?
What do they view him as?
Do they see him as that dreaded retread label?
Or do they view him as, hey, he's a guy who's won a Super Bowl and has had just as much success, really, as our previous coach in Mike Tomlin.
But...
I mean, it's just you put the two guys side by side in a room.
I mean, I think there's there's a very big difference in terms of the level of charisma and gravitas that one has versus the other.
That doesn't make one a better coach, but I think that's where it more so comes in as far as coaching personality.
And Mason Rudolph, did you see his love letter to Tom Lee?
Last night.
Yeah.
Honestly, first of all, I think that's better writing than I do on a regular basis.
So that's not really fair that Mason Rudolph is 6'5", handsome guy with a rocket for an arm, and he's penning this kind of prose to his former coach.
But yeah, I mean, he talked about his swagger and kind of like a real life Denzel Washington character walking the practice fields every day on the South Side.
Jeff Hathorne's out in the hall waving hello.
As I tend to try to do with you guys, I want to split the difference.
I want to mend fences.
I want to play it down the middle if I can.
