separate, hey, how much of that was the supporting cast around him?

Could you have plugged a lot of different quarterbacks into those shoes and had success?

Those are the unanswerable questions, but I think that's why Howard is so well-liked and has such a high floor for success in the league, even if it is as a backup for most of his tenure.

And like you mentioned, Bob, it's all going to revolve around McCarthy.

So if you get that right...

The rest is window dressing, and if you don't, the rest doesn't matter too much.

But I've heard good things about Brian Angelico.

I've heard good things about Brian Angelico going back a ways well before he was in the running to be the Steelers offensive coordinator.

I'm talking seasons ago, maybe when Arthur Smith or Matt Canado was calling the shots here.

But that's a name that didn't come out of left field to me, and I think tapping into anybody from that Vikings offensive staff makes sense.

I know they weren't good this past year on that side of the ball, but –

a lot of that was quarterback play.

You saw what they did with Darnold a couple of years ago.

So like that, our Patrick Graham on defense, you know, I,

Keeping an open mind, I mean, I think it's also tough to assess when the Raiders roster was so barren of talent and experience in a lot of places.

Some of the ones that I like, I think the O-line coach pairing is really good with James Campin as the old grizzled veteran of it.

And then you have Jari Evans in there to teach the finer points and fundamentals from a recent player point of view and a Hall of Fame caliber player at that.
