And it gave me a really good comparison, a really good breakdown.

And under the hood, the OS is totally different, even though it's the same

can't control it the same way so that was a good one i actually kind of wish i felt stupid at the end of i should have thrown this in here earlier to see even if i was getting some bad information back i could have could have maybe saved myself a bit of a headache looking through things so it's been very helpful very very helpful

I'll say like one of my first

it was in Extron's control script.

You know, very standardized Python, so easy to work with, nothing really kind of that you have to worry about Extron being specific on.

And we had run into this issue with Global Configurator where you need a whole bunch of systems to talk to one centralized program because you can't share IR ports on the end of a navigator in GCP.

So we wrote a control script program that went through and just had a TCP server in it and was connecting and triggering our IR ports that way.

And I hate to say it, but my programming was not very efficient.

It was my first forte into it.

You know, there was a lot of duplicated classes, a lot of duplicated pieces, but I got it all working.

And then I went and put it in chat GPT and refined it.

And I asked, you know, I provided my my class and said, can you turn this into a reusable class for me?

And I what I found worked really well as my initial prompt was this big question of I'd like to turn this into a class where I can reference X, Y, Z and get returned this.

And what I found at first was, can you just turn this into a class?

And it gave me back to class.
