I think that's its official name.
So when you're working through APIs, you would probably not have, like when I build with Project Bruno, I wouldn't have Nano Banana in that name.
It would be the 3.1 Flash image, I think is technically it.
So if you ever are trying to do that and you're building tools and you want to use nano banana, just make sure you go to Google's documentation.
You look to see what those actual those actual models are called.
I'll give you another one, too, because I just got an email saying they're depreciating
3.0 preview because they came out with 3.1 well you gotta google gives you enough time but you have to know that's happening because it's not on the api side it's not going to auto update like when i came into gemini this morning it just was nano banana 2 if i go into flow it's nano banana 2 but that's not the way it works through the api so you got to kind of keep that in mind
Now, I don't know how much you guys have had time to play with it, but I've actually played with Banana Banana quite a bit this morning and tried to stress test it a little bit here and there.
Thank you, Jeff.
I'm going to put this up on the thing.
Jeff says it's Gemini dash 3.1 dash flash dash image dash preview.
I didn't realize that the preview on there.
Thank you for putting that in there, Jeff.
Yeah, that stuff's really important.
When you're connecting with APIs and you're building, you really, really got to make sure you have those models.
And I will also say like Lovable and Cloud, they don't always know what the latest model is.
So you have to be really specific.
And I have found at least that you have to call it out.
You have to literally give it to it so it can connect correctly.
