I don't know.
I don't know how to know until we know.
So it's like we'll have to continue to monitor it.
More research papers will come out.
But we might find that just because people are working with agents and those agents now do a lot of things that we had to do ourselves, that it doesn't necessarily deteriorate our ability to do cognitive thinking.
In fact, we might find the opposite in that people are thinking harder and deeper about things than ever before because they're not weighed down by the simple.
And so they're able to free up more time for the complex.
And I don't know where that leads us.
I'm excited about it, though.
Like AI is making it possible for us to work longer.
And there was that whole like sort of new story that came out last week about that.
I was like, yeah, I feel that.
I mean, there's a lot of fun in feeling highly efficient.
There's a lot of fun in knowing that in a given workday of eight hours, I will produce more meaningful work and make more meaningful change for my clients and coworkers than ever before.
And that is because of AI.
But the same can be true that that day can feel exhausting.
And because AI never sleeps, there's no natural change.
like downtime of well you know people are asleep so we're not going to move forward on this and ai is basically well i never sleep but i don't have to stop and there's really no reason you need to stop working on this project right now because who cares if it's five o'clock i can keep working on this indefinitely and happy to view so you know with no feedback and so to that point about stepping away or walking away from the computer um i know i've had to like get better at that
Of saying like, yep, if I stayed here for five more hours, there would be five more hours of work done.
No doubt.
