Somebody said to me, give 90% away for free charge for the last 10%.

That was something that my wife and I sort of lived and died by.

In fact, before that, we really struggled with our online business.

And that was a big unlock for us because I think it was just human nature to believe that more of what you know as your knowledge is unique.

I see this with companies, by the way, all the time.

All the time when I work with new clients and they're like, well, nobody can touch this.

And then I'm looking at it because, you know, NDAs and things like that.

And I'm going...

i've i've seen this 10 different times but to that company they really do believe that it's very very unique what their process is or whatever it is and oftentimes i find that it's not and so what i think andy is just hearing what you're saying is you're saying like maybe giving away the goods i would like to think this is a future of you know when we get out of our own way of saying like mine mine mine like this is nobody else you know i have to protect this because it's my institutional knowledge and we give that be it to ai or otherwise

what I hope is it collectively allows us to raise to a new level.

Because it's not that humans in general aren't incapable of doing harder things.

It's that our lives are mostly filled with a lot of boring, unnecessary, redundant tasks that take up a lion's share of work of most people's 40-hour weeks.

It's very rare that somebody is spending more than 50% of their time doing new, innovative, pushing the boundary forward work.

I think that's where I would love to see more people be able to spend their time

In general, and let's relax a little bit about what people actually think is this, you know, unique perspective or whatever, because I'm going to tell you, it's probably not.

There's probably better ways you could be spending your time in your intelligence, especially if you have time in grade.

And you know, unique things like let's get let's let's focus there.

So it kind of goes back to that idea of giveaway 90% for free charge.

That's obviously if you have a business, but in general, in life, give away more.

It's only going to free you up to when you share willingly what you know with others.
