When it kicked off in Super League, it was brilliant when it first kicked off.
We played through the 95-96 winter season.
We had a month off and we went again.
That was an interesting period.
Bradford Bulls, right?
That's right, yeah, yeah, yeah.
And the whole comp, everybody went again.
And that Wigan, that was probably in the 95 season, Wigan's last dominant year as the old Wigan.
Then Saints took over and Saints were the strong team.
They went out in front for a couple of years.
And that was fascinating.
That was a brilliant period.
And the whole country really was aware that rugby league had changed from winter to summer.
Imagine that.
Imagine that.
