The internal unit really is just the hot water tank.
So the outdoor unit is pretty much the same as the boiler in terms of noise it makes.
The outdoor one?
Yeah.
It's just because you're moving parts of the fan that blows the air into it.
But the internal unit is just the hot water cylinder, so it shouldn't make noise.
Yeah, I mean, it depends if that house was built in 2001, there's a pretty good chance that they'd be eligible for the windows and doors.
Yeah, exactly.
I'd say we have a list of BR assessors on our website to contact a BR assessor to look at your house and to identify if there are any areas that need to be upgraded.
So again, like walls and roof insulation.
It may be just that they don't need to do anything.
They can get windows and doors in straight away.
So we have a grant for that, but I'd consult a BR assessor first to see what the overall state of the house is and what they might need to do as a priority.
Yeah, we have a traditional homes pilot, which that house would fall under.
So that's being delivered through our one-stop shop.
They would engage either with the homeowner's choice of traditional or conservation professional or the one-stop shop will work with one.
But a traditional house is very different to your post-1940s house.
So there's a lot of work in terms of the insulation solutions will be different, more breathable solutions for wall insulation.
So you need to engage one-stop shop first and a conservation professional will specify the kind of works you need to do because it's a very different...
Yeah, but even the insulation you use is different because what you would use in a 1970s or 80s house to wrap it or insert it internally wouldn't be suitable for traditional building walls because it might create condensation issues in behind it.
