So should they not have given the vast reduction to the hospitality industry, for instance?
Did Sinn Féin support the use of blockades on fuel depots?
I just wanted to get a clear answer, and you've given me one, so thank you for that.
Colin Brophy?
No, I don't think he said that.
And in fairness, the people blockading the fuel depots did allow emergency services.
I think you made that point.
Minister of State Colin Brophy and Sinn Féin's David Cullinan, thank you both very much indeed for that
year after year and there just doesn't seem to be an easy fix.
What we're talking about here is pupils who are not able to access a school place with the appropriate supports to meet their needs.
So that's quite simply the issue.
For some, the preference may be to access this in a local mainstream school, but it could also mean the need to access a special school which are designed to support people with more complex needs.
Now Labour, Dublin Bay, North, Councillor Alison Field is in this position because
It has been recommended her autistic son, James, would do best in a special school when he begins secondary this September.
The problem is she can't find him a place in any school in Dublin.
This is some of her experience.
And obviously, if you've contacted so many special schools, you're not limiting it to your direct geographic area.
Is there a possibility of a unit within a different type of school setting?
Yeah, absolutely.
Because what it means is most likely James may need to travel a distance to secure a place if they can get one, but it will be away from his community, away from his support network.
