If you don't want to know some of the problems, ECHA, who is like, they are supposed to be supporting us, refused to fund these things.
So these things cost a lot of money and a lot of breweries don't have that money lying around.
So we've been quite frustrated with the government.
And all we wanted was for them to be able to help us out to all breweries in New Zealand have the ability to reclaim their CO2, but it's an expensive process.
So very few have been able to do it.
I think the rising costs, the inflationary pressures, it's reducing people's ability to be able to pay for quality products.
So, you know, people will start to trade down to other stuff or just stop buying products which they could afford before.
Now, you know, every time you fill up your car, you realise that actually you've got less money to spend.
So it's that discretionary income.
and then all of our rising costs of which we just can't pass them all on i mean you know someone's once said to me that a six pack of beer really should be 30 bucks but we just can't we know customers just can't afford that so a lot of brewers are just trying to cut costs and and survive
