I don't think so.
No, because there was reprieve.
There was always a moment, a week, a day, a night, an hour of reprieve, even when things were hard in different points in my life.
It wasn't until I had kids where there was literally no break.
I remember one night really late at night, like 11 p.m., and it was screaming Olive when she was a newborn and it dawning on me that there was no day off.
I was like, oh, this is forever.
Even the worst job in the world, you get a day off.
Where's his little calendar?
I was back at work by this stage.
I was back teaching three days a week.
And with teaching, because it's a female-dominated industry,
And just how the society has worked, a lot of people who have kids in teaching, they become the main domestic person at home because they were like, oh, you've got 12 weeks off or 10 weeks off a year and, you know, some people think that school goes from nine till three and then all this free time afterwards and so you're going to be in charge of the kid.
That's obviously...
And a lot of couples, the teacher in the couple is the lower paid person.
And so they're like, well, obviously you're going to have all this.
And all of those things happen in my situation.
Lucas earned more than me.
I had the school holidays.
But it's not nine till three.
