I don't want to sit with them and they're going to feel sorry for me and I don't want their pity.
But I look over and there was a baby, a four-month-old little girl who'd had a brain tumour so huge and she had a huge scar down her head.
And I was like, oh, my God, he doesn't have a brain tumour.
That poor little baby.
And then I noticed another baby, this little boy, who was born without a really important part of his body.
And I was like, oh, is he?
And the dad was like, oh, we've been here for six months and we'll work it out.
And I was like, oh, okay, perspective is finally happening after a week of being isolated and thinking, oh, no one's ever gone through something so hard.
I was finally given some perspective.
Like, no, no, it could be really hard.
You could have, you know, all of these things.
But still no answers were coming.
And then eventually after I think it was eight days of him being completely still, finally he started to stir a little and then feed a little.
And then the doctors were like, yeah, we honestly cannot find what it is.
So you can go home.
I was like, okay.
Yeah, and one of the scans shows he's got bleeding on his brain, but it seems to have stopped and we think it's a result of the birth and obviously should have had a caesarean.
I'm like, oh, it's my fault.
So they're like, okay, all right, you can go home and just let us know if he has another one of those episodes.
