It was always a really bleak one.
the ending was bad or it was unrelatable.
And one doctor kept saying to me, and this is, again, it's hard to know what to say and there's so many wrong things to say.
A doctor said to me, oh, have you got girls?
I said, yeah, he's my first son.
And she said, oh, this is classic boys.
Classic boys, they're troubled, they're lazy.
I was like, what?
What are you doing?
How are we making this about gender?
He's three days old.
My son doesn't pick up his socks.
I was like, yeah.
So I know that everyone's trying to say the right thing and there are so many things that are the incorrect thing to say, but sometimes nothing at all is harder.
And I think one of the reasons we say nothing is
There's a few things.
I've thought about this a lot.
One of the reasons we don't say anything to mums when they're struggling is because we don't want to say the wrong thing, but also we're so used to seeing a mum struggle.
Like you seeing that woman, lots of people would have walked past and seen that woman crying with all of the things falling down and the kids crying.
So many people would have seen that and so many people would, after a few days, completely have forgotten.
