Deku tree in Zelda.
Giant tree.
Magic giant trees.
Put one in the middle of the city.
All of the magic trees have a purpose, which is not revealed in book one whatsoever.
Intriguing.
It's a mystery.
It's kind of interesting because you have this idea of Sothuras, which is the capital city of Logar, and it was like a profoundly magical city that has just stopped having the magic to power it.
Yeah.
But there is still this profoundly magical thing at its centre and that is probably more representative of its people than anything because the magic is not... It's never going to leave a place.
It's kind of inherent in what it is.
It's just we currently don't have the ability to access it.
And that's just this ancient fascination with what is out there.
And as a profound hippie, I refuse to believe that we are the only living things on the planet that matter.
Yes.
Agreed.
I grew up watching David Attenborough, man.
Oh, man.
Formative for everybody in our generation.
I have to admit, going back to watch Blue Planet as a 28-year-old, there's some weird narration choices, but David Attenborough, from the mycelium to the big bears that live in these forests, being fascinated by the general life cycle that's going on, it's mystical unto itself.
