I was trying to beat around the bush about when are you leaving and she wasn't getting it and I just got frustrated and

You just need to leave.

I'm sure that she was hurt hearing that, but she was very hurt.
And she kind of huffed out, and then she called my husband while he was still at the grocery store and told him what happened.
