I would point out at the same time, Disney was careful in that in timing the announcement of the deal, they also sent cease and desist letters to Google.

to take down copyright-infringing videos from YouTube.

So they're trying to send a message at the same time, like, calm down, we get it, but we kind of had no choice.

It's like the drug dealer defense.
