And ascending even more deeply into the phrase, we can simply look at the basic words

What associations arise for you with that simple but sacred word, life?

What is it to receive the word life in this meditation?

Or perhaps you can ask inwardly, where in you needs to hear the word life?

What area in your experience or your awareness needs to receive life?

As always, in meditation, you are asking without judgment and simply with open-hearted curiosity.

Is there any area of your existence at the moment

that needs life, that needs to be enlivened, that needs to receive the gift of life.

And whatever resounds for you now,

Allow yourself to be open to the promise of the full line, I have come that you may have life, life in all fullness.
