I think, again, these are good bets.
You know, you hope that what happened was he went back, he got a reset, he got his confidence back.
I like the fact that he was in Finland, you know, with smaller ice surface.
So, you know, very similar to what, you know, they play here.
Do I...
You know, it's just, it's a good signing.
I don't expect it to be more than an AHL signing, but it is a good signing.
Yeah, I mean, we've talked about this a couple of times, right?
Like, you know, Callie Larson, you know, USHL guy who watched a lot of USHL players who then end up in college, right?
And then they, you know, you see guys fall through the cracks, you sign them as free agents.
Well, same thing in Europe.
And, you know, there's no greater example right now in the immediate future
You know, future of the Edmonton Oilers and a guy named Josh Szymanski, who, you know, without a doubt is on the NHL roster next year unless, you know, he's somewhere else because he's shown that he can play certainly 4C.
I think there's a ceiling there to play 3C.
He's got to get a little bit more dynamic offensively.
But when you can sign a guy out of Europe who can come in and play the pivot position, which is a very tough position in the NHL, at a strong level and not waste draft capital and it just be a free agent signing, that's a win all day long.
Yeah, we're just going to summarize a bunch of the Edmonton Oilers that played some collegiate hockey this year.
So you'll see a little bit on Aiden Park, Galen Wakely, Bowerberry, players like that.
Yeah, Paul Fisher, just, you know, just to kind of cover the collegiate players, and then next week we'll go back to the AHL and we'll talk about some of the players that I think captured, you know, the Oilers' fans' imagination, like a Conor Clattenburg, and talk about what he needs to do to take that step.
But first it's the collegiate players, and then we'll go there.
