And you had educated opinion raising their hand saying, hey, guys, we should be trying this.
And it's like, oh, no, no, no, no, no.
And that's where you come down to the tyranny of the majority when it's uneducated.
Totally.
And I think that's why things are almost getting worse is solely because of social media.
Social media can be such a powerful tool, but ultimately it's coming down to egos and getting sound bites and things aren't done in an honest debate style like this because guess what?
This isn't going to get as many views as if you and I were fucking going back and forth.
back and forth with each other, you know, getting fucking gotcha moments.
I think that's almost like catering to the base side of us.
And so as long as you feed that base side of us, it's not going to go away.
And so I think that you have to... It's like we were talking about the floods in Kerrville.
That's just people being addicted to wanting to feel like they're on the right side, being fucking righteous.
we have an outrage culture yeah i want to be out yeah what was the thing i saw oh then uh sydney sweeney thing that's the new outrage thing it's like are we really like come on there's there's there's a play on words here it's you know saying your eye color all these things are you know related to genes it could have been any color person in there saying the same thing she's
pretty yeah she's pretty yeah it really if anything the ugly people could be outraged at the attractive people because that's really what it was more about more so than fucking race you know i mean so there's a group of ugly people saying that's fucked up um then i'd be like all right cool you know you guys have an issue but i'm sorry this wasn't fucking race but they just had to make it race but i think that goes back to i also think
Well, that's what I was about to ask you too, is that...
If people didn't know that, oh, here's this fucking Gene ad that just came out and, oh, shit, I can turn this into a racist thing.
And, oh, fuck, I can get these viral clips and I can get paid.
So now it's almost the incentive is to create this outrage culture because if I'm a fucking creator, I'm getting paid on views.
So now it's like I am looking for outrage.
And once again, though, I go back to blaming people.
