And so in 19 or excuse me, in 2010, they went in and they redid the whole system, still bringing water from the estuary.

But now they had like a system of pumps and stuff where they could try and manage.

And then once a year for a week, they would close it down.

They would empty it.

They would kill the algae.

And they apparently also there was a lot of like geese poop.

It was like full of geese poop, like hundreds of thousands of pounds of geese poop.

And they would have to go in and, you know, unpoop it.
