And Strut, you bring up a great point.
Like, they're...
ambition is to be competitive next year and make the playoffs.
That was not the plan in Montreal.
They knew they weren't going to be any good for a couple of years.
So it is a much different level of expectation and pressure.
But it feels like, to me, with what the Leafs, and this seems to be the philosophy probably from all the way up, I'm guessing Keith Pelley,
is, you know, they went with conventional wisdom.
You know, Craig Berube, a lifer, go get him.
Brad Treliving, he's been around for 20 years, get him.
You know, Babcock, that was the obvious guy 11 years ago, go get him.
Now they're like, we're going to do the complete opposite.
We're going to get John Chyka, who no one was talking about, and we're going to give him an opportunity, and we're going to go get Joe Pavelski because it goes against everything that you would expect the Leafs to do.
And I don't know if that's going to be the right play.
