But the thing is, guys, it used to be a time where when you won the Ted Lindsay, it was almost a slam dunk.

You won the Hart.

I don't think that's the case anymore.

I mean, Jamie, you played with Pronger when he won the Hart.

I think Jaromir Jagr won the Ted Lindsay.

Yeah.

There's been a bunch of different scenarios where a guy wins the Ted Lindsey.

I always thought there was a trend where it was a kind of, you know, you win the Ted Lindsey, like that's the guy that's going to win the heart.

That's not always the case.

You would think it should be.

One's voted on by your peers, the players, and the other one is by media.

Yeah, but McDavid's been on the opposite side of it, where he's won the Ted Lindsey and not won the Hart.

But I think that's possibly happened a couple times.

I don't know if he did.

He looked that up, like the last five or six years, the Ted Lindsey heart connection.

Well, because McDavid's got five Ted Lindsey's now, and I believe three hearts.

Now, if he wins the heart this year, then that would only be once that that's happened.

But this could be the second time, at least for him.

I saw something where 40-something people, I don't know if this to be fact, but 40 people didn't vote for the coaching team.
