But the beautiful thing is when we come to him with things that he already knows it builds the relationship yeah, and it builds the trust and it builds the love and It shows that we care about him, and that's really what faith looks like that's what looks like bringing him into every day is you're Constantly trusting that his way is better like I'm gonna choose not to turn to the alcohol today even though I like the feeling because
it's left me empty the past few years.
And I, I'm going to choose you instead because you fight, you give me purpose and you give me these things.
And I remember growing up and being in high school.
And when I became a Christian, I went to a private Christian school.
People thought like I was a buzzkill.
They thought I was the righteous police.
They thought I had like, I would say it was like, why I was a private Christian school.

In that moment, it was I was choosing to trust that his way was better.

I find my personality in sports or I find my personality in partying or I find my personality in sex or I find my personality in sports.
drugs or whatever but god gave me my personality back because i didn't know who i was before then i was yeah a people pleaser i was struggling with sexual sin i had depression i had anxiety i was trying to figure out my purpose so i didn't even know who i was already then yeah what do you mean he's going to take away my purpose i don't even know my purpose right now
And when I found him, I got my personality back.
I didn't people please.
I wear Crocs and t-shirts and my wife said, get some new style, you know, and I'm like, this is just who I am.
Yeah.
And it's like, I, you know, I talk the way I talk and I look the way I look is I got my personality back.
And so, you know, I think everything in between, we think of God's will and God's purpose for our life.
