There's there's there's two instances, particularly on the alcohol and stuff and the substances.
in proverbs king lemuel at the end i think proverbs 31 or proverbs 30 he talks about alcohol and he says hey if you're you know important leader or you know like a king or something it might be wise for you not to drink alcohol uh because it might sway your decision making you know he kind of talks about how it in affects discernment and then uh in the new testament it talks about it says do not be drunk with the wine but be filled with the spirit for it is a waste
And I think that word choice is so interesting.
Isn't it crazy that we call it being wasted?
Yeah.
When you're on it and it's like, Oh, that is crazy.
And, but you know, when we, when we get on drugs or alcohol, it's like you're wasted.
Yeah.
But the Bible says for it is a waste and it's interesting.
And so, um, yeah, I just think those things, I thought of those and I'm like, man, that's so, that's so encouraging to go like, man, I need, dude, I need Jesus every day.
And, like, vulnerable.
Even though it was hard.
Yeah, because I know you'd said on an interview before you talked about how you had lived with a fear of your your past becoming public.
Yeah.
And then it did.
And that that created that avenue for you.
Where was God for you in your mind during that season?
just doesn't work yeah is what I've what I've come to realize and you you you said that you know if any of that ever came came out publicly that option a would be to call it quits and yeah take your life um did you wrestle with that what was that like um when it first happened I was like
So did you run away from that house because you were wanting to take your life?
I didn't even know how to.
