to what he has so yeah i think josh mori with that performance on the weekend i actually think he's in the all-black squad that's what i think with the way that he played on the weekend and the consistency he's played throughout the year since coming back from montpellier
Yeah, look, mate, that's when you've got a good team, when you're able to nitpick, I guess, with what they think is perceived as being able to be better and knowing what they need to do better to get into the final series.
So, yeah, mate, I think we've touched on the whole year.
They've been the form team.
They're saying the right things.
They're doing the right things.
They're playing the right way.
If you're looking at it as a Kiwi fan, you're looking at them saying, like, what a great brand of footy, but...
I think when it does come to the crunch time it's going to be a different part of the year but I think they are doing all it just seems like through the whole year and the group that they have had for a while now it seems like they're ready to take that next step now you know there's other teams in the competition the Chiefs the Blues in the and the other teams will have something different to say about that but yeah it's going to be a very hard team especially going to Wellington with the way they are playing to get the job done but
But Ross, we've said it the whole year, you know, they've played well the whole year through the season.
But, you know, finals footy, when it all comes, when all the chips are on the table, that's when we're going to really question this Hurricanes team.
Yeah, 100%.
And I think, look, if you look at the players that are going as well, like there's a really good opportunity, I think, for that maybe third halfback spot in New Zealand.
I think Cam Roygard is no doubt the number one halfback.
And I think Noah Hotham, through the duration of this campaign, has been able to make himself number two with that battle with Cortez and Artema and Xavier Rowe.
So I just think that also with how Lennox has been playing, his instinctiveness, TJ, is something that I've really enjoyed.
Like whether it's off the quick tap new laws, he's really fast.
He's actually quite tough as well and quite brave when it comes to defensive areas.
And even his box kicking game, I think has been pretty good most of the year when he hasn't had his opportunities on to start for the Highlanders.
i know you've got hotham and you've got roy guard but i think you know probably cortez hasn't played as much as he's wanted to this year now he's obviously going to have the opportunity to play in finals footy where this highlanders team isn't with lennox but you're talking around utility covering multiple positions you talk around a 43-man squad and probably have to send four or five halfbacks i know finlay christie's there he's been there a long time but yeah i just think with a few injuries where the halfback stocks are at the moment yeah i think lennox is a good chance possibly
