Like I know there's been a lot of talks around Damien McKenzie, Richard Mwanga coming back and Bowdoin Barrett but look I know all he's been doing is concentrating on himself and running that steering that shift for the Hurricanes team and I thought the way that he played on the weekend TJ his ability to be able to

attack with ball in hand like I know that he's been more of a game manager role and he's been done he's done that really well throughout there but I thought his ability of just being able to break the line you saw your Ruben love taking it to the line and being able to score tries from there I just thought it was a really really good performance for Ruben and I know that that kind of performance I think it'll even just knock it down even more for him to be able to get a start in this early for this early series for the All Blacks to the way that he is playing.

Like, I think, and with what Dave Rennie did say in his first press conference, is that he's going to play players that are playing on form.

Now, we'll be able to hold him towards that when he does name that squad in that first team selection if Ruben Love, because based on form, if you are talking about it, Ruben Love's the best team in the comp right now.

So, I can understand that probably with that saying, there will be some players that are based on form will get the opportunity, but then you need to have your true leadership and your true experienced players to be able to get that mix right.

This is nothing against Damian McKenzie and Bowden Barrett, but we know what we're going to get with them.

And if Ruben Love, this experiment doesn't go well, then you know you can always go back to them.

But I think with the way that he has played, and more so the game management role, I think he's done that very, very well.

I agree with you, TJ, when you've got the likes of

You know, Cam Roigard, Geordie Barrett outside you, you're able to have that ability to be able to game manage.

And I just think with the way that Hurricanes team has played, all we've needed from Ruben is distribution because the wingers on the outside have been able to score tries.

You can see it with Finnegan Anofo and you can see it with Morby to get that ball to width.
