been the forgotten man I guess in that midfield combinations and talking about it but um look it's all the effort areas that that I love about Dave um his skill set I've talked to I've labored the point around his skill set around triple threat run past kicking he did that on the weekend with that 50 22 not even a 50 22 a 22 to 22 being able to find the grass to be able to get in a position to even get them in the opportunity to win that game so
Yeah, it's kind of like a what-if story with Dave, but I think, you know, the Crusaders in that group, they know how valuable he is and how much he means to that team.
And if they're going to go anywhere to this competition, I think Will Jordan will play a big part of that.
But the likes of David Harvilli for that group and his leadership and how he does play, especially in the second half, he's going to be massive for them.
So hopefully he can stay injury-free, along with Will Jordan.
I don't know how too serious it is, TJ, but I think the Crusaders, if they have a chance, they're going to have to have Will Jordan playing as well.
I can't imagine the Hurricanes resting players, but they could, they've got the opportunity to be able to do that.
But I think what TJ touched on, what the Crusaders are in win mode right now.
They're in finals fully mode.
They've got to be able to try and get a home final because, you know, with what probably TJ saw with the crowd there, they're going to get set out.
See, there's obviously still a lot of enthusiasm and buzz with there being a new stadium.
But look, I think the one thing that, the biggest thing that I touched on last week with this Crusaders group, and I think had a big result was the physical area.
The physicality, it's always a big case when it comes to these New Zealand derbies, but if you look at the physicality stats, the dominant carries 26%, the Chiefs were at 22%.
The gain line was 65%, the gain line for the Chiefs was at 50%, which was a low for this year.
I think the biggest thing for them getting those kind of numbers when it comes to their physicality because I think in these derby games especially with the Hurricanes I've said the whole year that that four pack has been the best in the competition not only that loose four trio but that tight five and the ability that they were even against the Highlanders you look at the the numbers and the way they're able to dominate the kitchen area on both sides of the ball
they're going to have to continue to keep doing that.
So, yeah, that's what I was impressed against the Chiefs.
And, you know, I guess for the Crusaders fans, that's going to need to continue, I think, moving forward.
And injuries as well.
Injuries to crucial players.
