It's the big one.
Well, there's two.
One is people just want Florida to remain Florida.
They love the state.
People love coming here.
They love living here.
Affordability is a major concern.
The governor and the legislature are going to have special session in a couple weeks or maybe a month or so about property taxes.
I hope the governor is successful in eliminating homestead property taxes.
I support him in that.
They did great work on insurance a couple of years ago in legislative session where they did some tort reforms that is pushing down the loss ratio in insurance, which is bringing more insurance carriers into the state.
What I want to do is build upon that, and we're going to keep the tort reform in place.
But what we also want to do is look at the regulatory environment around insurance in our state.
We haven't looked at that in probably about 25, 30 years.
And by the way, I chaired insurance and banking when I was in the state legislature, and I was in insurance in my career, 17 years in finance.
So we want to look at the regulatory framework of insurance in our state, find other key ways to push insurance rates down in Florida.
The third thing, and I talked a little bit earlier about the permitting issues.
If it takes you too long to build a house, the cost of that house is not being borne by the contractor or the developer.
It's borne by the end user.
Whether the single family housing, one to four family rentals, commercial strip centers, we want to make sure that we're being efficient with that time and squeezing those costs out.
