Yeah, remember last year when Trump launched his Liberation Day tariffs?

Most economists, as you mentioned, predicted consumers would be hit the hardest as businesses would be forced to raise prices to compensate for the tariffs and then inflation would in turn go up.

But each month the data shows that's just not happening.

President Trump spoke at the Detroit Economic Club yesterday and it really drove home that point.

And I did ask Antony for his take on that aspect, and he elaborated on who exactly is footing the bill for these tariffs and how the Trump administration is working to make sure that it's not consumers.

Now, it's worth noting, all that good news on the economy doesn't really mean much if folks don't feel tangible relief for themselves.

The latest polling from Marist shows that 61% of Americans still feel the economy is, quote, not working well for them.

So Trump still faces an uphill battle to shift that perception and convince Americans that the economy is on the right track.

Yeah, you mentioned video footage coming in.

Alpha News actually obtained the cell phone footage taken by the ICE agent during last week's shooting.

And it does give a much fuller picture of what transpired.

As the agent approaches 37-year-old Rene Good, who is sitting in the driver's seat, he's first haunted by Good's wife.

Seconds later, as other agents demanded that Goode get out of her car, her wife yells, quote, drive, baby, drive.

You can then see Goode appearing to look directly at the officer in front of her car before revving her engine and accelerating.

We're not going to play that part, but you can hear the officer let out a panicked scream as he is seemingly hit by the vehicle.

You can also hear that on the video before three shots ring out.

Now, Republicans felt that footage further vindicated the officer and showed that this was a justified case of self-defense.

But many on the left continued to double down.

and claimed that this was murder.
