Yeah, ultimately, Trump will need congressional approval to officially abolish the department. But in the meantime, he can hand off most of their duties to other departments. The same number supported his plans for immigration. 73% supported his strategy on Ukraine and 65% his approach on tariffs. The list goes on. Now, it was worth noting those numbers are not reflective of the general population. These are polls of just those who watched the address.
