So I covered the Hurricanes actually for several years.
I was their in-game host.
That was like really my first job out of college.
So I was around the organization for about five or six years and I was on the broadcast for a couple of years there.
And, you know, I was a part of kind of that beginning of it all.
I came in when Tom Dundon took over the team and they hired Rod Brendamore.
And you're right, like couldn't have happened to a better guy.
I think just having been around that culture that he built there and seeing all of the same people
People on his staff and the strength and conditioning coach, Bill Burnison, and even the team doctor, and watching all of them celebrate and go on this run, it's just like they've worked so hard, and they've been so consistently preaching the same things.
inside that locker room over the last several years.
And just to see them get rewarded has been so, so special.
And especially those fans in Carolina, I'll tell you what, they are the most passionate fans I've ever experienced for, you know, in good ways and sometimes not so good ways.
They definitely are diehard up there and they don't,
You know, let many people in unless you really love the Hurricanes.
But, you know, I think that's what makes it so awesome for them to be celebrating this.
Yeah, for sure.
Obviously, the big one that we've covered is George Springer's 300th homer.
