That's always going to be a part of their identity.
And teams struggle against that.
And so they're not going to have that big star power on offense.
But if you're like defense wins games, right?
And if they're doing that and then they have the pitching, pitching wins games.
Like those are two very dangerous characteristics for this club.
And that's why we're seeing the record that they have right now.
pick a guy's brain like alex avila and learn from some of those ex-players and i guess further to that why does it always seem to be catchers that uh that stand out the most i don't know you know maybe because i feel like catchers are usually like leaders in the in the clubhouse and so i feel like a lot of them just have really good personalities and they're used to being super vocal in the clubhouse and so um you know maybe that's that's a part of it i love alex that was my first time working with him um i i actually you know it's fun
I do like a little series on my Instagram.
People always are so fast.
They're as fascinated as I am about, you know, working at MLB network.
And they asked about what it's like to work with these analysts.
And, and, you know, I think the coolest part is like, they're so in love with this game and like, you know, their playing years are over.
And you would think at this point, like they'd be kind of just exhausted from, from baseball being their entire life and the passion that they have and the knowledge that they have.
I even enjoy watching, like they're constantly trying to grow every day.
We have this like place at MLB Network, it's called the bullpen.
And so it's basically a bunch of couches and a bunch of TVs.
It's like the best living room setup you could ever have.
And, you know, before the shows, like everyone's just kind of sitting in the bullpen and people are prepping for their different shows, but we're all kind of chopping it up.
And you watch these guys watch baseball and you kind of see it through their lens.
