Yeah, no, a really impressive inning for the Blue Jays, especially considering where they were at.

Obviously, they had the big swing from Dalton Varshow.

earlier in the game that made it a little bit closer but still trailing in that eighth inning and it was very uh maybe we say this too much but it's always you kind of think back to the last year's team when you see them pull off an inning like that because it's very much like sequencing the hits stringing some hits together everybody kind of doing their part and then getting that big swing doing damage uh as okamoto was able to do and so it was kind of very reminiscent of of what they were capable of last year as a team and what made them such a dangerous team is that

They were able to kind of control the zone, not do too much and able to pass the baton as well until they could kind of get that pitch where they can do the most damage on.

And that was exactly what happened in the eighth inning.

Five runs scored to kind of take control of that game to that point.

Yeah, I mean, he looks more comfortable.

He looks more confident, and it looks like he wasn't in that at-bat, particularly trying to do too much.

move a guy along and keep the keep the line moving and so I think that you have to you have to take that uh if that's what he's going to give you and I think that yeah it's another step in the the right direction I think overall and Vlad's the type of guy that would say he's more concerned with winning uh and in that moment he did his part and I'm sure he's happy to have that individual success but I think most of all he's going to be pleased with the fact that

They were able to come out and come back from a deficit in this game and put up a really impressive win.

And, you know, I know the Cubs aren't the Dodgers by any means like they're they have had their own struggles this season.

But considering what happened yesterday in the afternoon game yesterday, really tough game for the Blue Jays, considering that they probably knew they weren't going to get necessarily a long inning from Patrick Corbin, just given his age.

History to this point this year, he hasn't exactly been going deep in games.
