It is irresponsible to only chase your passion because your mortgage payment doesn't care about your passion.

I just don't want to be on my deathbed with regrets.

And you know, you hear people say it all the time.

Hey, you're not buried with the money that you make, which is a very true statement, but it's also money does make the world go round.

If you want to do things, it's going to come at a cost.

If you want to have thing, I like, don't get me wrong.

I'm like money and nice things just like everybody else.

Of course.

But I just can't fathom how bad it would be to be on your deathbed with a feeling of regret for things you wish you had done.

And sometimes to do that, I have found in my life at least, I have to say no to opportunities that may produce a little bit more income.

But I'd rather take the experience, especially with my wife and kids, than a 1% increase in net worth that I'm probably going to blow on something stupid anyway.
