I think he's a bullpen piece, so like...
Just to appease the team, I don't want his personal progress going backwards.
That's just me.
But at the same time, this team's trying to win.
So, like, again, caught in this weird catch-22 scenario with him.
But he's been really impressive.
And consistency of breaking ball location is what I would really like to see, like, tighten up just a little.
I love the shape.
When he gets it to the spot, the shape's perfect.
His pitches are legit.
His windup is very, very repeatable.
As a youngster, you don't see that very often.
I like the kid a lot, and I'm being picky.
I'm being picky.
If I was back there, hey, that's what we're honing in on.
But I'm being really picky.
He's shown very well and been very impressive.
And what he's done...
What they've asked him to do, he's done and done well.
They've asked him to expand a couple of things to try this, and he's done it.
